Kirkton Community Centre content The community centres at Menzieshill, Charleston, Ardler, Kirkton, Hilltown, Finmill and Douglas will re-open on Mon 14 September. They have all been prepared for a safe reopening in line with the Scottish Government’s route map out of lockdown and the Council’s recovery plans. The reopening has been carefully planned with a range of measures in place to keep staff and service users safe and prevent the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19). Centre opening hours will 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Centre programmes have been amended and attendance at these programmes must be pre-booked by telephone or email. Local Management Group The Local Management Group plays an important role in supporting and developing the Centre Programme. The Young at Heart is aimed at the 50+. The Digital Photography Group, Decoupage Group, Cardio Combat, Boxercise and Roly Poly (card making) group are always looking for new members.
