Dundee Local Development Plan 2 – Proposed Plan: Period of Representation
The Dundee Local Development Plan 2 – Proposed Plan, Environmental Report and Draft Supplementary Guidance were approved by Elected Members on Monday 21st August 2017. They have now been published and are subject to consultation through a 6 week period of representation.
The Proposed Plan is the Council’s settled view on the land use strategy, policy framework and proposals that should be contained in the next Dundee Local Development Plan. The content of the Proposed Plan has been prepared following the consultation on the Main Issues Report and subsequent comments received through its preparation from Key Agencies and stakeholders such as developers, landowners and agents as well as the local community through analysis of the Local Community Plans and the results of the Engage Dundee consultation.
The Proposed Plan has been informed by the Strategic Environmental Assessment –Environmental Report and Habitats Regulation Assessment and supported by three pieces of Draft Supplementary Guidance.
The period of representation will run for 6 weeks and will start on Monday 28th August 2017 and finish on Monday 9th October 2017.
During this time we would invite representations on any unresolved matters that will be addressed through Examination of the Plan by an independent Reporter appointed by the Scottish Government. We also invite any comments on the content of the Action Programme, Environmental Report and Draft Supplementary Guidance.

Hard copies of the Proposed Plan, Proposals Map and Environmental Report are available to view at Dundee House and copies of the Proposed Plan and Proposals Map are also available to view at local libraries.
An exhibition of the Proposed Plan will be held in Dundee House reception and the Wellgate Central Library from Monday 28th August until Friday 6th October with the following drop in events:
