Knowing where and who to turn to when things get difficult, and finding the right support when you need it - this section contains information about the wide range of support organisations, services and activities that are available locally for people who need a helping hand.

Help in a Crisis:  Information and helpline numbers for people experiencing a crisis such as financial difficulties, bereavement, abuse or suicide.

Counselling Services in Dundee

First Contact Team:  Provides a fast referral and assessment service to help deal with a wide range of needs to people aged 16 years and over.

Self-help Resources:  links to materials which can help you want to help yourself.

Parent Information: includes information on schools, early years, childcare and additional support needs, plus lots of helpful resources.

Disabled people - Information:  links to the Dundee independent Living Website, which contains useful information on resources and services for people with disability.

Mental Health:  information about support organisations for people with mental health issues.

Handyperson Service: need help changing a light bulb, moving furniture or fitting a smoke alarm? This links you to a leaflet which gives information about this service run by Dundee City Council (please note that a charge will be made).
