Car Parks Closure Information

Drivers are being advised of closures at two Dundee City Centre car parks in the coming days.

Due to electrical maintenance work, West Bell Street Multi-Storey car park will be completely closed on Friday 16 February 2018.

The work is essential to allow the re-opening of floors four, five and six at the multi-storey, which have been shut for safety reasons since November 2017.

Alternative parking is available at other City Centre sites to include Gellatly Street Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP), Olympia MSCP and Greenmarket MSCP.

The council would like to apologise for the inconvenience the closure may cause. The date of the work on Friday is a school holiday.

West Bell Street will reopen on Saturday 17 February 2018.

Also, due to site survey works connected with the Site 2 Dundee development, the Yeaman Shore car park will close fully between Sunday 18 February 2018 and Friday 23 February 2018.

From Saturday 24 February 2018, half of the spaces will be made available through until Friday 2 March 2018.

Alternative parking is available at other City Centre sites to include Gellatly Street Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP), Olympia MSCP and Greenmarket MSCP.

From Saturday 3 March 2018, the car park will reopen completely but is due to close permanently in late summer.

Dates for the final closure of the car park will be released as soon as possible.

Currently up to 80 cars can use the variable stay facility and the council calculates that the Greenmarket car park has sufficient capacity to accommodate all of the demand owing to the Yeaman Shore closure.
