Organisation Info

Hours: Groups met in Dundee for approx. 3 hours per month or fortnight.
Notes:
AIMS: The Dundee Adult Social Group is for people aged 16+ with high functioning autism and Asperger syndrome. We support people who would otherwise not have any social opportunities. For someone with autism, Social Groups make a radical difference to the isolation and loneliness that people with the condition experience. NAS Social Groups are an invaluable opportunity to make friends, meet new people and learn new social skills.

OTHER INFO: Participation in our social groups has proven to increase self-esteem, self-confidence and feeling of self-worth. Groups meet fortnightly or monthly and members decide on their activity, which could be a boat trip, laser questing or just meeting up for a coffee.
