What They Do:
Volunteers play a major role in forming parent support groups, raising awareness of speech and language difficulties in their local area and helping organise activities for children and their families. The national telephone helpline involves trained volunteers and others act as local contact points in different areas. In addition, volunteers often participate in fund-raising events to support the charity or help with the administration at training/conferences.
