Organisation Info

Charity No: SC0 30685
Hours: Our hours have been increased to include a Monday from 9.30am till 2.30 pm. We have a knitting group on a Tuesday morning in Servite house from 10am till 12pm. We have recently started a Friendship Club in Servite House on a Monday from 12pm till 2pm when senior people can get together over soup and a sandwich and have a blether.
AIMS: We exist to bring friendship to socially isolated and bereaved people who live in Monifieth.

OTHER INFO: We run a weekly strength and balance class, to improve the muscles used for walking. We offer regular social events for clients and volunteers together and for volunteers to meet over a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. We have young volunteers who are matched with residents in the local care homes.
Monifieth High School sixth year pupils befriend in pairs visiting older people in the community, who need a bit of company.
