Visitor Parking Charges

Coronavirus (COVID19)

Dundee City Council has made the decision to suspend all pay-and-display and pay-on-foot parking charges for the time being.

Dundee City Council staff will continue to enforce all other parking restrictions (including limited waiting) to ensure the free flow of traffic and that no vehicles are parked dangerously or causing an obstruction for other road users or pedestrians. They will also respond to complaints from the public about unsafe parking. (update 15 Jan).

Public Holidays

You can park free of charge in Dundee City Council parking bays on:

25th December
26th December
1st January
2nd January

Where any of those dates lands on a Saturday or Sunday then the public holiday will be defined as the next successive weekday or weekdays.

What to do if a parking meter is out of order?

If the nearest parking meter is not working please purchase a ticket from the next closest meter. To report a fault, note down the meter identification number (located on the front of the parking meter) and phone the Council's Parking Administrator on 01382 432095.
