Educational Awards and Bursaries
Higher School Bursaries may be granted at the discretion of the Authority to any pupil from a low-income family who remains at school beyond the statutory leaving age of 16. The amount of the award is assessed on a nationally agreed scale, in relation to the total family income, less certain allowances.
