What is the Copy Document Service?
The City Development Department's Copy Document Service provides replacement documentation relating to Planning and Building Warrant applications.

*Where plans are on microfiche an additional £60.00 fee is to be added as the plans have to be sent away to be scanned by a specialist company
*To obtain copies of Building Warrant plans you will normally require the permission of the property owner as stipulated under The Building (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (Section 58), or if you are the owner, a utility bill or similar.
How do I order replacement documentation?
To order your replacement documentation simply Email your requests to us using this address copy.documents@dundeecity.gov.uk. Please give at least one week's notice as files may require to be retrieved from Archives.
How will I receive this documentation?
Replacement documents will be returned to you via Email. If file sizes are too big to Email we will provide you with a CD Rom containing the electronic copies of the documentation you requested.
How do I pay for my replacement documentation?
Payment for this service is by invoice which is done on a weekly basis.
