Members of the public, local partners, staff, students and alumni are all warmly invited to join us at the 2024 Abertay University Public Engagement Event.

Join us for a programme of presentations as we reflect on the University’s achievements and look toward the opportunities and challenges ahead. There will also be an opportunity to learn about the strategic vision Abertay directly from the University’s most senior figures:
Chancellor, Professor Alice Brown.
Chair of Court, David Brew.
Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Liz Bacon.

Our speakers will look ahead at the challenges and opportunities facing Abertay and the wider higher education sector, with topics including the current funding environment, the need to continue working on widening access, the landscape surrounding developments in artificial intelligence and other key areas.

This public event will be held in the Main Lecture Theatre at 12.15pm on Wednesday 24 April and will be followed by networking and a buffet lunch until approximately 2pm.
