The minute of meeting of this Committee of 17th August, 2020 was held as read.

I DECLARATION OF INTEREST

 

There were no declarations of interest.

 

II PLANNING APPLICATIONS

 

(a) 20-00118-FULL - RETAIL WAREHOUSE, MILTON OF CRAIGIE RETAIL PARK, MILTON OF CRAIGIE ROAD NORTH, DUNDEE - CHANGE OF USE FROM RETAIL USE (CLASS 1) TO A HEALTH AND FITNESS CLUB (CLASS 11) WITH ASSOCIATED ALTERATIONS - FOR JD SPORTS FASHIONS PLC

 

The Committee acceded to requests for a deputation to address the Committee relative to objections to and in support of the above application which was recommended for approval. After the deputations had stated their cases and answered questions from members of the Committee, they were thanked for their attendance and withdrew.

 

Thereafter, having considered objections received, the Committee approved the application, subject to the conditions recommended by the Executive Director of City Development.

 

(b) 20-00279-FULM - 19 NEW CRAIGIE ROAD, NEW CRAIGIE RETAIL PARK, DUNDEE - VARIATION OF PLANNING CONDITION 18 OF PLANNING PERMISSION 17-00144 - PPPM TO ALLOW DELIVERIES AND SERVING AT THE EXISTING LIDL RETAIL STORE AT ANY TIME - FOR LIDL GREAT BRITAIN

 

The Committee approved the application, subject to the conditions recommended by the Executive Director of City Development.

 

(c) 20-0002-MDPO - LAND TO THE EAST OF NURSING HOME, LINLATHEN ROAD, BROUGHTY FERRY DUNDEE - MODIFICATION OF A S75 AGREEMENT RELATED TO PLANNING PERMISSION 10-00298-FULL - FOR REDWOOD RETREATS LTD

 

It was reported that a request had been received for a deputation to address the Committee in support of the application. The Committee approved the application, subject to the conditions recommended by the Executive Director of City Development and in the circumstances declined to hear the deputation.
