I DECLARATION OF INTEREST
Councillor Flynn declared a non-financial interest in Article II(a) by virtue of having discussions with relevant officers from City Development regarding this application, left the meeting for this item and took no part in the debate.
II PLANNING APPLICATIONS
(a) 20-00534-FULL - NEW CYCLEWAYS, FOOTPATHS AND INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS, THE ESPLANADE, BROUGHTY FERRY, DUNDEE - FOR DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL
The Committee acceded to requests for a deputation to address the Committee relative to objections to and in support of the above application which was recommended for approval. After the deputations had stated their case and answered questions from members of the Committee, they were thanked for their attendance and withdrew.
Thereafter, having considered objections received, the Committee approved the application, subject to the conditions recommended by the Head of Planning and Economic Development, and also subject to the additional condition as detailed below:-
Prior to the commencement of development hereby approved, full details of the type, form and colour of the surface materials of the shared path, segregated cycleway and footpath shall be submitted to the Council for written approval. Thereafter, the surfaces shall be completed in accordance with the agreed details.
Reason:
In the interests of visual amenity and in the interests of pedestrian and cyclist safety.
(b) 20-00722-FULL - INSTALLATION OF SELF-SERVICE AUTOMATED PHARMACY COLLECTION MACHINE, 1 ALPIN ROAD, DUNDEE - FOR MR MARK AGGLETON
The Committee acceded to a request for a deputation to address the Committee relative to objections to the above application which was recommended for approval. After the deputation had stated their case and answered questions from members of the Committee, they were thanked for their attendance and withdrew.
Thereafter, having considered objections received, the Committee approved the application, subject to the conditions recommended by the Head of Planning and Economic Development.
