The Board, having heard from an agent on behalf of the applicant and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to allow the variation to include the addition of activities within the premises to include recorded music and live performances both within and outwith core hours, that recorded background and live performances may occur outwith core hours as ancillary to general retail sale of groceries and other non-food items. General retail sales would also occur outwith the core licensed hours, but not normally before 7am or after 11pm.

II OCCASIONAL LICENCE APPLICATION

 

(i) GULISTAN HOUSE INDIAN RESTAURANT AND TAKEAWAY, QUEEN STREET, BROUGHTY FERRY

 

The Board, having heard from the applicant, the premises owner, the Licensing Standards Officer and the Board's Legal Adviser, and having considered an objection received, agreed to grant the occasional licences until January, 2022, and agreed that further occasional applications be considered at the meeting of the Board scheduled for 20th January, 2022.

 

(ii) KEILLORS CHINA SHOP, 64 SEAGATE, DUNDEE

 

The Board, having heard from an agent on behalf of the applicant, the Licensing Standards Officer and the Board's Legal Adviser, agreed to grant the occasional application for the sale of gifts and collectables, for a specialist 24 on site hour engraving of goods, for the sale of alcohol in engraved bottles or gift packs with engraved glasses, quaichs, other drinking vessels and other goods etc and sale of niche Highland Moon Mead, Scotlands only distilled mead, for the delivery of goods including alcohol to public or trade eg delivery of alcohol gift packs to tourist purchaser in hotel and for the delivery to domestic premises for celebration etc delivery of Highland Moon Mead.

 

III PERSONAL LICENCE - REVIEW HEARING

 

(i) JEFFREY STEWART, 85/4 DUNDEE ROAD

 

The Board agreed to defer the review hearing until the Board meeting scheduled for 16th September, 2021.

 

IV PERSONAL LICENCE - REQUEST FOR REVIEW

 

The Board agreed to a hold Personal Licence review hearing in respect of Santanu Roy Chowhudry.
