I LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005

 

(a) VARIATIONS (MAJOR)

The Board, having heard from the agent on behalf of the applicant, a Licensing Standards Officer and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to approve the variation to allow alcohol to be sold for consumption on the premises until 1am Fridays and Saturdays, to amend the operating plan to allow films during licensed core hours and to add occasional Comedy Nights into the additional activities and to add the following condition:-

 

any live or DJ music will be restricted to end at midnight but background music is permitted during all core hours.

 

II PERSONAL LICENCE - REQUESTS FOR REVIEW

 

(i) HANNAH BARCLAY

 

The Board, having heard from the the Chief Constables representative, a Licensing Standards Officer and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to revoke the licence.

 

(ii) MARC ADRIAN JACKSON

 

The Board heard from the Chief Constables representative and the Boards Legal Adviser.

 

Thereafter, the Convener moved that the Board impose a written warning. As an amendment, Councillor McIrvine moved that the Board revoke the licence. On a division, there voted for the motion, the Convener and Councillors Alexander, Rome and Scott (4); and for the amendment - Councillors Lynn, Cruickshank and McIrvine (3) - whereupon the motion was declared carried and a written warning was imposed.

 

III PERSONAL LICENCE - NEW APPLICATION

 

The Board agreed to defer the application to the meeting scheduled for 21st April, 2022.
