PEOPLE using the Douglas Terrace walkway in Broughty Ferry have been warned that it will close later this week as part of the on going refurbishment works.

Contractors Kilmac will be constructing the concrete deck and this will mean closures on two separate days.

Signs will be put up and an alternative route over Beach Lane footbridge and along Beach Lane has recently been improved.

The first day-long closure will take place on Wednesday (February 20).

Refurbishment works are expected to be completed in the Spring.
