The Personnel Department aims to enhance the individual and collective contributions of employees to the short and long-term success of Dundee City Council in serving the people of Dundee.
The Department has five key areas:

- Employment Unit
- Health and Safety
- Personnel
- Current Job Vacancies
It ensures that the Council operates efficiently and effectively and that employees are recruited and given the opportunity to develop.
