I DECLARATION OF INTEREST

 

Councillor Alexander declared an interest in Article II(a) by virtue of previous comments made by him in regard to this and an adjacent planning application, left the meeting for this item, and took no part in the debate.

 

II PLANNING APPLICATION

 

(a) 22-00205-FUL - MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT OF PURPOSE-BUILT STUDENT ACCOMMODATION AND COMMERCIAL UNITS - DUNDEE WEST MINERAL YARD, GREENMARKET, DUNDEE - FOR CRUCIBLE DUNDEE LTD

 

The Committee acceded to requests for deputations to address the Committee relative to objections to and in support of the above application which was recommended for approval. After the deputations had stated their cases and answered questions from members of the Committee, they were thanked for their attendance and withdrew.

 

Thereafter, having considered objections received, the Committee approved the application, subject to the conditions recommended by the Head of Planning and Economic Development and subject to the change in wording at Condition 14 which would now read "prior to any works on site details of the secure and covered cycle parking shall be submitted to the Council for written approval. Thereafter, an appropriate range of cycle storage shall be installed in accordance with the agreed details prior to first occupation of the development hereby approved".
