This office is now open to the public for birth registrations and high priority registrations by appointment only (updated 12 February)
Please call 01382 435222 (during office hours, see below) or email registrars@dundeecity.gov.uk with all queries. Please be aware that emails will be responded to in priority order due to the present strain on the service.
Monday to Friday, 8.45 am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.45pm
Certificates can be bought online and will be posted out 1st class. Please note: due to high levels of demand on our service there may be a short delay getting certificates sent out to you. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Registration of Births (update 15 February 2021)
Birth Registrations are by appointment only please call 01382 435222 or email registrars@dundeecity.gov.uk with a telephone number, an appointment will be made for you within office hours.
Weddings are now max 5 people including the bride and groom, two witnesses and the celebrant. Under current COVID restrictions people are not permitted to travel to other local authority areas so please bear this in mind before contacting us.
Everyone must wear masks for coming into the ceremony, and during the ceremony, however the bride and groom can take their masks off for the duration of the ceremony.

Family History/Genealogy services will not be taking place at this time due to COVID-19.
