At a MEETING of DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL held at Dundee on 11th June, 2001.

Lord Provost Helen WRIGHT, Convener, in the Chair.

Prior to the commencement of business the Lord Provost on behalf of the Council, congratulated Ms Margaret Manners who had won the inaugural John Smith Memorial Award for Adult Learning. The Deputy Lord Provost had attended a function in Edinburgh on 15th May, 2001 when Ms Manners had been presented with a commemorative rosebowl.

II MORGAN TRUST

It was reported that Councillor Sturrock had resigned from the above Trust.

The Council agreed that the vacancy be filled by Councillor Regan.

III ESTABLISHMENT OF NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE TAYSIDE BOARD - LOCAL AUTHORITY APPOINTMENT

There was submitted Report No. 377-2001 by the Chief Executive relative to the above.

The Council agreed that Councillor Presswood be appointed.
