I MINUTE OF PERSONNEL APPOINTMENTS SUB-COMMITTEE OF 24TH APRIL, 9TH MAY AND 31ST MAY, 2001

 

The minute of the Personnel Appointments Sub-Committee of 24th April, 9th May and 31st May, 2001 was submitted and approved (Appendix I).

 

II SOCIAL WORK DEPARTMENT - CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM - REVIEW OF ADMINISTRATION TEAM

 

There was submitted Report No 295-2001 by the Director of Personnel and Management Services outlining and seeking approval for changes to the structure of the Criminal Justice Service Administration Team.

 

The Committee approved the following recommendations:-

 

(a)to re-grade one post of Administrative Assistant from AP1 (13,162-14,118) to AP2 (14,484-15,717);

 

(b)to re-grade five posts of Clerical Assistant from GS2 (11,796-12,399) to GS1/2 (9,180-12,399);

 

(c)to re-designate one post of Word Processor Supervisor to Administrative Assistant with no change to grade;

 

(d)to improve the amended structure as outlined in Appendix I.

 

III CO-ORDINATION OF DUNDEE DRUGS AND ALCOHOL ACTION TEAM

 

There was submitted Joint Report No 292-2001 by the Director of Corporate Planning, the Director of Social Work and the Director of Personnel and Management Services recommending establishment of a part-time post to co-ordinate the work of the Dundee Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DDAAT) and to facilitate the implementation of the Drug Corporate Action Plan and the emerging Alcohol Action Plan for Dundee.

The Committee approved the establishment of a fixed term part-time (19 hours per week) post of Dundee Drug and Alcohol Co-ordinator graded PO7-10, SCP41-44 (27,687-29,823).

 

This report was also approved by the Policy and Resources Committee on 11th June, 2001.
