Personnel Appointments Sub-committee - 15/08/2001

At a MEETING of the PERSONNEL APPOINTMENTS SUB-COMMITTEE OF THE PERSONNEL AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES COMMITTEE held at Dundee on 20th June and 15th August, 2001.

The Sub-Committee resolved in terms of Section 50(a)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the undernoted item be considered in private on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 7(A) to the Act.

I APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR OF LEISURE AND ARTS

At the meeting held on 20th June, 2001 the Sub-Committee was asked to consider and agree the job description and the person specification. There was also tabled a provisional timetable and a draft advertisement for filling the post.

After discussion, the Sub-Committee agreed the job description, the person specification draft advertisement and the provisional timetable.

At the meeting held on 15th August, 2001 there was submitted an application received following advertisement of the post. The Sub-Committee agreed that S Grimmond be appointed.

It was further agreed that the short leeting meeting for the post of Director of Social Work take place on 23rd August, 2001.
