I UNAUDITED STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31ST MARCH, 2002

There was submitted Report No 552-2002 by the Director of Finance providing some additional commentary on the unaudited Statement of Accounts.

The Committee:-

(i) noted the contents of the report;

(ii)noted the unaudited Statement of Accounts which had been submitted along with the report; and

(iii)instructed the Director of Finance to submit these Statements of Accounts to the Controller of Audit, Accounts Commission for Scotland.

(a)Dundee City Council

The above accounts (Report No 553-2002) were submitted and noted.

(b)Direct Labour Organisation

The above accounts (Report No 554-2002) were submitted and noted.

(c)Direct Service Organisations

The above accounts (Report No 555-2002) were submitted and noted.

II FINANCE DEPARTMENT SERVICE PLAN 1999/2002 - PERFORMANCE INDICATORS 2001/2002

There was submitted Report No 546-2002 by the Director of Finance relative to the above.

The Committee noted the progress in 2002/2002 towards the performance targets set for each service in the Finance Department Service Plan 1999-2002 and remitted to the Director of Finance to develop a four year service plan (2003-2007) for the Finance Department and to report back to this Committee.
