I TENDER RECEIVED

 

The City Engineer submitted Report No 653-2002 giving details of offers received to carry out demolition of the West Port toilets.

 

The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer by Safedem Limited amounting to 4,797.00 to which required to be added allowances of 3,003.00 for public utilities and contingencies, 300.00 for planning supervisor, and 650.00 for professional fees, making a total expenditure of 8,750.00.

 

The Committee resolved under Section 50A(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 6 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

 

II COMMERCIAL LEASES

 

There was submitted Report No 650-2002 by the Director of Economic Development detailing commercial leases in respect of the undernoted premises:-

 

Site of former Balerno Centre

Unit 6, Peddie Street

Unit 7, Market Mews, Market Street

Units 3 and 4, Fruit Market, East Dock Street

Steading A and Holding 18E, Barns of Claverhouse.

 

III RENT REVIEWS

 

There was submitted and approved Report No 651-2002 by the Director of Economic Development detailing the review of rent in respect of the undernoted premises:-

 

Office G, Market Mews, Market Street

Unit 24, Mid Wynd

The Eastmost Part of Claypotts Park, Dundee extending to 1.12 Ha or thereby.
