At a MEETING of the RENEWAL OF LICENCE SUB-SUB-COMMITTEE held at Dundee on 9th September, 2002.

Unless marked thus * all items stand delegated.

 

The Sub-Committee resolved, under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that this would involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 3, 6 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the above Act.

 

I CIVIC GOVERNMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 1982 - TAXI DRIVER'S LICENCE - RENEWALS

 

(i) There was submitted an application by Mr F A for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(ii) There was submitted an application by Mr D A for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(iii) There was submitted an application by Mr G A for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(iv) There was submitted an application by Mr J B for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(v) There was submitted an application by Mr D B for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(vi) There was submitted an application by Mr R B for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted and an additional letter of representation which was tabled by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

(vii) There was submitted an application by Mr P C for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(viii) There was submitted an application by Mr J C for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(ix) There was submitted an application by Mr M C for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(x) There was submitted an application by Mr R C for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xi) There was submitted an application by Mr B D for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application and a letter of explanation which had been submitted by the applicant.

 

Thereafter, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xii) There was submitted an application by Mr D E for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xiii) There was submitted an application by Mr G G for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xiv) There was submitted an application by Mr J G for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted for the period to January, 2003.

 

(xv) There was submitted an application by Mr J G for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xvi) There was submitted an application by Mr J G for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xvii) There was submitted an application by Mr J G for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

(xix) There was submitted an application by Mr J K for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xx) There was submitted an application by Mr W McD for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xxi) There was submitted an application by Mr E McH for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xxii) There was submitted an application by Mr A McI for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xxiii) There was submitted an application by Mr J McK for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

(xxiv) There was submitted an application by Mr S M for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xxvi) There was submitted an application by Mr B M for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xxvii) There was submitted an application by Mr M M for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xxviii) There was submitted an application by Mr J N for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xxix) There was submitted an application by Ms D O for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xxx) There was submitted an application by Mr G P for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xxxi) There was submitted an application by Mr J P for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xxxii) There was submitted an application by Mr G R for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted for the period to May 2003 subject to the applicant passing a medical examination to the satisfaction of the Council's Medical Examiner.

(xxxiii) There was submitted an application by Mr D R for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xxxiv) There was submitted an application by Mr D R for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xxxv) There was submitted an application by Mr K R for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xxxvi) There was submitted an application by Mr J R for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application and a letter of explanation had been submitted by the applicant.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xxxvii) There was submitted an application by Mr M S for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.

 

(xxxviii) There was submitted an application by Mr D S for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted for the period to March, 2003.

 

(xxxix) There was submitted an application by Mr G S for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xxxx) There was submitted an application by Mr D S for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application and a letter of explanation which had been submitted by the applicant.

 

Thereafter, having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

(xxxxi) There was submitted an application by Mr D S for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to a meeting of the Licensing Committee.
