I REVENUE BUDGET 2003/04

 

Reference was made to Article III of the minute of meeting of the Policy and Resources Committee of 10th January 2003 and Article IV of the minute of meeting of the Finance Committee of 10th January, 2003.

 

The Committee had before them Provisional Revenue Budget Volume 2003/04 and Review of Charges 2003/04.

 

The Committee:-

 

(i) noted the contents of the Education Department's Provisional 2003/04 Revenue Budget as set out on pages 3 to 16 of the Budget Volume issued to the Committee on 24th December 2002;

 

(ii) noted the budget adjustments relating to the Education Department as detailed in Appendix B to Report 122-2003 by the Director of Finance, being:

 

(a) include Discipline Taskforce New Monies grant income of 266,000; and

 

(b) include increase to Non-Domestic Rates Budget of 3,000;

 

(iii) noted the draft review of charges relating to the Education Department as detailed on page 2 of the Review of Charges document that was issued to the Committee on 24th December 2002; and

 

(iv) remitted all proposals relating to the Education Department's 2003/04 Revenue Budget to the Special Policy and Resources Committee for its consideration.
