I BETTING GAMING AND LOTTERIES ACT, 1963

(i) APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF BETTING OFFICE LICENCE

The Board, having heard an Agent on behalf of the applicant and the applicant on their own behalf and after consideration of the observations of the Environmental & Consumer Protection Department agreed to grant the above application with a warning.

II LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1976

(a) APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF LICENCES

Applications marked thus * include renewal of Sunday Opening.

The Board, having heard an Agent on behalf of the applicant and after consideration of the observations of the Environmental & Consumer Protection Department, agreed to grant the above application.

The Board, having heard the applicant on his own behalf and after consideration of the observations of the Environmental & Consumer Protection Department and confirmation that the electrical certificate had now been obtained, agreed to grant the above application.

The Board, having heard an agent on behalf of the applicant, the advice of the legal officer and that the licensee who had confirmed that he no longer had an involvement with the premises, agreed that the application was incompetent and that it not be considered.

(b) APPLICATIONS FOR THE GRANT (INCLUDING THE PROVISIONAL GRANT) OF NEW LICENCES

The Board noted that the above application had been withdrawn from consideration by an agent on behalf of the applicant.

The Board agreed to grant the above application and that the usual entry conditions be applied.

(c) APPLICATION FOR REGULAR EXTENSION OF PERMITTED HOURS

From 11.00 pm to 2.30 am Mondays to Sundays and 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm Sundays for shift workers, members and guests.

The Board, noted that this application had been withdrawn from consideration by an agent on behalf of the applicant.

The Board agreed to grant the application from 11.00 pm to 2.30 pm Mondays to Sundays and 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm Sundays for disco and live entertainment.

(d) APPLICATION FOR MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT CONSENT

The Board agreed to grant the application for TV, including satellite TV, automatic music system, disco, instrumental groups (maximum 3 artistes) and karaoke Thursdays to Saturdays during the permitted hours and any extension thereof.

The Board agreed to grant the application for TV, automatic music system, disco, karaoke, instrumental group and live artistes (no maximum) Mondays to Sundays during permitted hours.

(e) SECTION 32 HEARINGS

1 THE PARK HOTEL (DUNDEE) LIMITED, 40 COUPAR ANGUS ROAD, DUNDEE - HOTEL

Reference was made to Article IV of the minute of meeting of the Licensing Board of 20th March, 2003 wherein it was agreed that a Section 32 Hearing be held in respect of the Park Hotel (Dundee) Limited, 40 Coupar Angus Road, Dundee.

The Board, having heard from an Officer of the Environmental & Consumer Protection Department, an agent on behalf of the liquidators and consideration of additional information submitted on behalf of the liquidators agreed that a Closure Order be promoted.

(f) REQUEST FOR SECTION 31 HEARING

1 ROK STOP, 25 SOUTH WARD ROAD, DUNDEE - PUBLIC HOUSE

It was agreed to hold a Section 31 Hearing in respect of the Rok Stop Public House, 25 South Ward Road, Dundee.

(g) APPLICATIONS FOR TRANSFER OF LICENCE - SECTION 25(1)

The Board, noted that this application had been withdrawn from consideration by an agent on behalf of the application.

The Board, having heard an agent on behalf of the applicant and after consideration of the comments from the Environmental & Consumer Protection Department agreed to grant the above application.

(h) APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN'S CERTIFICATE

The Board, having heard an agent on behalf of the applicant and after consideration of the comments from the Environmental & Consumer Protection Department agreed to grant the application from 11.00 am to 8.00 pm Sunday to Saturdays in the function suite located in the upstairs of the premises.
