I DUNDEE LAW - APPLICATION FOR USE

There was submitted Agenda Note AN169-2003 reporting for information/record purposes that the Director of Dundee Contract Services in consultation with the Convener and Opposition Spokespersons had, due to the timescales involved, approved an application for use of Dundee Law by St David's High Kirk on Sunday, 20th April, 2003, subject to the provision of all necessary insurances provided by the applicant.

II SCOTTISH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION COMMUNITY PROGRAMME

There was submitted Agenda Note AN172-2003 noting a request from the SFA Community Programme to organise courses on developing football in the community for 5-10 year olds during the school summer holidays on various open spaces and landscape areas throughout the City.

It was agreed that permission be granted free of charge for use of various open spaces in consultation with the Director of Dundee Contract Services subject to the necessary insurances indemnifying the Council against damage to property, injury or loss of life to members of the public and any services being provided by the Department being paid for by the applicant. In addition, the Director of Dundee Contract Services would withdraw consent if satisfied that any public complaints were justified.
