III PAYMENT TO VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION - PAMIS

There was submitted Agenda Note AN75-2004 reporting that PAMIS (Professional and Multiple Impairment Service) provided support for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, their families and involved professionals. It was reported that an application for funding for 10,720 had been submitted by PAMIS to continue this work in this financial year. It was also reported that this would cover one third of the total cost of the service which PAMIS provided across Tayside and that a separate application had been made to Perth & Kinross and Angus Council for the remaining two thirds.

Pending further negotiations for 2004/05 the committee agreed to a one-off payment of 10,720 for 2003/04 which would be funded from the Partnership in Practice Charge Fund.
