Cases Sub-committee - 06/07/2005

At a MEETING of the CASES SUB-COMMITTEE OF THE SOCIAL WORK COMMITTEE held at Dundee on 6th July, 2005.

The Sub-Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that this would involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 7A to the above Act.

I PURCHASE OF HOME CARE EXCEEDING AGREED LIMITS

There was submitted Report No 430-2005 by the Director of Social Work seeking approval for funding to allow Mrs A to remain at home.

The Sub-Committee agreed to the funding of additional care at home to meet the needs of Mrs A.

II PURCHASE OF HOME CARE EXCEEDING AGREED LIMITS

The Convener agreed that this item also be considered as a matter of urgency in terms of Standing Order No 17(b) and in view of the timescales.

There was submitted Report No 442-2005 by the Director of Social Work seeking approval for funding to enable Mr S to take up and be maintained in his own tenancy in the community.

The Sub-Committee agreed that the report be approved.
