The Sub-Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 7A to the Act.
I PURCHASE OF CARE AT HOME EXCEEDING AGREED LIMITS
(a) There was submitted Report No 191-2006 by the Director of Social Work seeking authorisation to purchase home care services for one service user in a supported living arrangement which exceeded agreed authorised limits.
The Sub-Committee agreed:-
(i) to authorise payment in respect of this care arrangement which met the needs of the service user appropriately; and
(ii) to note that these care arrangements would be subject to regular review and adjustment if needs or circumstances changed.
(b) There was submitted Report No 190-2006 by the Director of Social Work seeking authorisation to purchase home care services for one service user in a supported living arrangement which exceeded agreed authorised limits.
The Sub-Committee agreed:-
(i) to authorise payment in respect of this care arrangement which met the needs of the service user appropriately; and
(ii) to note that these care arrangements would be subject to regular review and adjustment if needs or circumstances changed.
