I DUNDEE CONTRACT SERVICES FINANCIAL OPERATING STATEMENT AND OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE FOR THE THREE MONTHS ENDED 30THJUNE, 2006

 

There was submitted Report No 463-2006 by the Head of Finance and Director of Dundee Contract Services appraising the Committee on the financial position and operational performance of Dundee Contract Services (DCS) for the three months ended 30th June, 2006.

 

The Committee noted:-

 

(i) the current financial position and operational performance of DCS;

 

(ii) that DCS should exceed the statutory requirement of break even for the third year of the current three year rolling period that commenced at the start of financial year 2004/2005; and

 

(iii) that based on the three months results the department should achieve the 475,000 surplus included in the City Council's approved 2006/2007 Revenue Budget.

 

II PROPOSAL FOR DUNDEE TREE WARDEN SCHEME
