I MINUTE OF MEETING OF THE AUDIT AND RISK MANAGEMENT SUB-COMMITTEE

The minute of meeting of the Audit and Risk Management Sub-Committee of 20th March 2006, a copy of which is appended hereto was submitted for information and record purposes.

II RELIEF OF RATES - CHARITY RELIEF

There was submitted Report No 247-2006 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) seeking authorisation to grant charity relief on the undernoted non-domestic properties:-

The Committee approved accordingly.

III HOSPITAL FUND AND JOHNSTON BEQUEST

There was submitted Report No 252-2006 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) advising the Committee of the additional income likely to be available in 2006/2007 from the above funds for distribution to pensioners in financial need.

The Committee authorised the issue of one application form per elected member in order that they may identify appropriate constituents within their ward for receipt of a pension from the above funds.

IV HOUSING BENEFIT OVERPAYMENT RECOVERY POLICY - UPDATE

On a reference to Article II of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 9th May 2005 there was submitted Report No 239-2006 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) updating the above policy
