I DUNDEE AIRPORT CAPITAL EXPENDITURE PLAN 2007-08

 

The Director of Economic Development submitted Report No 210-2007 advising the Committee that it was proposed that Dundee Airport be transferred to Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL) during the financial year 2007 to 2008 and reporting that the Scottish Executive had agreed to provide a Capital Grant to cover the cost of a programme of capital works to be carried out in the financial year in terms of the programme for discussion and agreement with HIAL and the Scottish Executive.

 

The Committee approved the terms of the report and authorised the implementation of the 2007-08 programme subject to agreement with HIAL and the Scottish Executive.

 

II TENDERS RECEIVED

 

The City Architectural Services Officer submitted Report No 243-2007 giving details of a negotiated offer under a partnering contract by Dundee Contract Services to provide new offices at Shore Terrace/Crichton Street for Working for Families.

 

The Committee agreed to accept the offer amounting to 43,000 together with allowances of 580 for building warrant and 6,889 for professional services making a total expenditure of 50,469.

 

The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 6 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.

 

III COMMERCIAL LEASES

 

There was submitted and approved Report No 213-2007 by the Director of Economic Development detailing commercial leases in respect of the undernoted premises:-

IV RENT REVIEWS
