I YOUTH JUSTICE ANNUAL REPORT

 

There was submitted Report No 468-2007 by the Director of Social Work providing information about the 2006/07 Annual Report of Dundee's Youth Justice Strategy Group.

 

The Committee agreed:-

 

(i) to note the content of this report; and

 

(ii) to note and approve the Youth Justice Annual Report.

 

II DUNDEE CARERS STRATEGY

 

There was submitted Report No 481-2007 by the Director of Social Work seeking approval to introduce a strategy for carers in Dundee.

 

The Committee agreed:-

 

(i) to approve the adoption of the strategy; and

 

(ii) to instruct the Director of Social Work to develop an action plan that demonstrated commissioning intentions to meet the objectives outlined in the strategy.

III MULTI-AGENCY INSPECTION: COLLABORATIVE WORKING ACROSS SERVICES FOR OLDER PEOPLE IN TAYSIDE

 

There was submitted Report No 482-2007 by the Director of Social Work on the outcome of the Multi-Agency Inspection of Collaborative Working Across Services for Older People in Tayside (Social Work Inspection Agency May 2007) and to seek approval for the proposed action plan in support of the recommendations.

 

The Committee agreed:-

 

(i) to note the recommended actions; and

 

(ii) to the actions proposed as outlined in Appendix 1 of the report.
