I CIVIC GOVERNMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 1982
(a) BUSKING IN THE CITY CENTRE
The Committee noted that this item had been withdrawn from the agenda.
(b) TAXI LICENCES - NEW APPLICATIONS

In the case of application Nos 1, 2, 3 and 4, there being no objections the Committee agreed that the applications be granted.
In the case of application No 5, the Committee noted that the application had been withdrawn by the applicant.
In the case of application No 6, this application had been referred back to Committee by the Sheriff for reconsideration and after hearing the Legal Officer, an Agent on behalf of the applicant and the applicant on her own behalf the Committee agreed that the application be granted.
The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that it would involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 3, 6 and 9 of Part 1 of Schedule 7A of the above Act.
II CIVIC GOVERNMENT ((SCOTLAND) ACT 1982
(a) TAXI DRIVERS' LICENCES - SUSPENSION HEARINGS
There was submitted a letter from the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr DB during the currency of his Taxi Driver's Licence.
Thereafter, having heard a representative of Tayside Police and the licence holder on his own behalf, the Committee agreed that the suspension be continued with immediate effect for a period of two months.
There was submitted a letter from the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr NW during the currency of his Taxi Driver's Licence.
Thereafter, having heard a representative of Tayside Police and the licence holder on his own behalf, the Committee agreed that the suspension be continued with immediate effect for a period of two months.
(b) TAXI LICENCE AND TAXI DRIVER'S LICENCE
There was submitted a letter from the Chief Constable relative to the conduct of Mr AK during the currency of his Taxi Licence and Taxi Driver's Licence.
Thereafter, having heard a representative of Tayside Police and an Agent on behalf of the licence holder, the Committee agreed that no further action be taken.
