Prior to the commencement of business, the Committee congratulated the young people involved in the recent 10th Anniversary Celebration Show.
I SUPPLY OF SPECIALIST MINI-BUS FOR KINGSPARK SCHOOL
There was submitted Report No 462-2008 by the Director of Education seeking approval to accept an offer for the supply of a specialist minibus for Kingspark School.
The Committee agreed to award the purchase of a specialist minibus for Kingspark School, procured via the Scotland Excel - vehicle framework, to Kerr & Smith, Glasgow for 33,570.
II PROVISION OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO NEW REGISTERED CHILDMINDERS IN DUNDEE
There was submitted Report No 464-2008 by the Director of Education seeking approval to continue to provide funding to registered childminders in Dundee.
The Committee noted and approved the contents of the report and the award of 200 funding to each of the new childminders in Dundee as outlined in the Appendix to the report noted below:-
