City Development Committee - 10/11/2008

At a MEETING of the ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE held at Dundee on 10th November, 2008.

The minute of meeting of this Committee of 27th October, 2008 was held as read.

Unless marked thus * all items stand delegated.

The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 6 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.

I COMMERCIAL LEASES

There was submitted and approved Report No 529-2008 by the Director of Economic Development detailing commercial leases in respect of the undernoted premises:-

Office G, Market Mews

Unit 2, Market Mews

II RENT REVIEWS

There was submitted and approved Report No 530-2008 by the Director of Economic Development detailing a rent review in respect of Unit 4, Marybank Lane.

III LOMOND PLACE/GLENCONNOR DRIVE - ASSIGNATION OF GROUND LEASE

There was submitted Agenda Note AN206-2008 reporting for the information of the Committee that, after consultation with the Convener and spokespersons of the Other Groups, the Director of Economic Development had agreed to the assignation of a ground lease at Lomond Place/Glenconnor Drive on the terms and conditions detailed.

IV PROPOSED SALE OF LAND AT 4 BALGAVIES PLACE

There was submitted Report No 543-2008 by the Director of Economic Development seeking approval for the sale of 0.0097 hectares of land adjoining 4 Balgavies Place.

The Committee approved the sale in the terms and conditions detailed in the report.
