I DECLARATION OF POLL - WARD 5 - MARYFIELD

 

It was reported for information and record purposes that following the counting of votes on 13th March, 2009, the undernoted member had been declared to have been duly elected to serve as a Councillor for Ward 5 - Maryfield.

 

Craig Melville, Scottish National Party (SNP) - elected at stage 6 - (turnout 29.39%).

 

II DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (191 PRINCES STREET, DUNDEE) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2009

 

On a reference to Article IV of the minute of meeting of the Planning and Transport Committee of 11th February, 2008, the Council agreed to make and enact the above Order, a copy of which is appended hereto.

 

III MOZART FESTIVAL

 

It was reported that the Lord Provost, his wife and the Council Officer had been invited to visit Wurzburg as guests of that City in connection with the Mozart Festival during the period 30th June to 3rd July, 2009.

 

The Council agreed that the invitations be accepted.

DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1997

AND

THE ACQUISITION OF LAND (AUTHORISATION PROCEDURE) (SCOTLAND)

ACT 1947

DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (191 PRINCES STREET)

COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2009

 

 

 

DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (hereinafter referred to as "the acquiring authority") in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 189 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 hereby make the following Compulsory Purchase Order:-

 

1. This Order may be cited as the Dundee City Council (191 Princes Street) Compulsory Purchase Order 2009.

 

2. Subject to the provisions of this Order, the acquiring authority are hereby authorised to purchase compulsorily for the purpose of securing the development and redevelopment of land and the proper planning of the area in which the land is situated, the land which is described in the Schedule hereto and is delineated in black and coloured red on the map signed with reference to this Order and marked "Map referred to in the Dundee City Council (191 Princes Street) Compulsory Purchase Order 2009"; and

 

3. The registration of a conveyance, as defined in Section 106(5) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003, in implement of this Order shall not extinguish any real burdens or servitudes affecting the land described in the Schedule hereto.
