I CUSTOMER CARE OFFICER ANNUAL REPORT 2008

There was submitted Report No 122-2009 by the Director of Social Work on the third annual report to be prepared by the Customer Care Officer which was attached to the report as an Appendix. The report informed members about the work of the Customer Care Services and the workings of the Complaints Procedure.

The Committee agreed:-

(i) to the content of the report; and

(ii) to instruct the Director of Social Work to undertake a planning process which fulfilled the requirements of the:-

+ Social Work Department User Involvement Policy;

+ Cabinet Office Customer Excellence Standard; and

+ Principles of Citizen Leadership.

II STRATHCARRON HOUSE REPLACEMENT

There was submitted Joint Report No 190-2009 by the Director of Social Work and City Architectural Services Officer detailing tenders received and requesting a decision on acceptance thereof.

The Committee agreed:-

(i) to the acceptance of the Agreed Maximum Price submitted by Hadden Construction Ltd, Aberuthven in the amount of 1,175,200; and

(ii) to allowances amounting to 224,560, giving a total cost of 1,399,760.
