I VOLUNTEER CENTRE DUNDEE - GRANT
There was submitted Report No 291-2010 by the Director of Leisure and Communities seeking approval for the payment of the annual grant award to Volunteer Centre Dundee (VCD).
The Committee approved the grant award of 10,130 to Volunteer Centre Dundee.
II DUNDEE INTERNATIONAL WOMENS CENTRE - GRANT
Councillor Fordyce declared a non-financial interest in this item by virtue of her Council appointment to Dundee International Women's Centre Board.
There was submitted Report No 292-2010 by the Director of Leisure and Communities seeking approval for the payment of the annual grant award to Dundee International Women's Centre (DIWC).
The Committee approved the grant award of 8,500 to DIWC.
III LOCAL ACTION FUND - SCHOOL HOLIDAY DIVERSIONARY ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME ALLOCATION 2010/2011
There was submitted Report No 304-2010 by Co-Chair, Dundee Community Safety Partnership seeking approval for the grants recommended within the report.
The Committee agreed to:-
(i) approve the grants recommended within the report; and
(ii) note that approved grants would be reported on within the Community Safety Partnership Annual Report 2010/2011.

IV TENDERS RECEIVED
There was submitted Report No 349-2010 by the City Architectural Services Officer, giving details of offers received for the undernoted contract:-
(a) McMANUS GALLERIES - DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
The Committee agreed to accept a negotiated contract from Muirfield (Contracts) Ltd, Dundee amounting to 46,648, together with allowances of 500 for building warrants, 2,800 for Consultant Civil Engineer (Fairhurst) and 800 for professional services, making a total of 50,848.
