The Lord Provost agreed that the undernoted item be considered as a matter of urgency in terms of Standing Order No 17(b) in view of the timescales involved.

 

II LOCAL ELECTIONS - 3RD MAY, 2012 - ALTERATIONS TOPOLLING PLACES

 

There was submitted Agenda Note AN48-2012 intimating that Abertay Housing Association had advised that the lounges at Gordon Street (Cobden Street) and Dykehead Place would no longer be available for use as polling places.

 

In the circumstances, the polling places allocated to the polling districts involved would now be Law Nursery, Campbell Street and Arthurstone Terrace respectively.

 

The Council approved accordingly.
