I DECLARATION OF INTEREST

II ANN STREET/NELSON STREET COUNCIL NEW BUILD HOUSING
Reference was made to Article V of the minute of meeting of this Committee held on 22nd August, 2011, when approval was given to accept an offer from WH Brown Construction (Dundee) Ltd to undertake construction of 12 flats at Ann Street/Nelson Street.
There was submitted Report No 375-2012 by the Director of Housing detailing tenders received for the completion of this new build development at Ann Street/Nelson Street due to the previous contractor, WH Brown Construction (Dundee) Ltd having entered receivership.
The Committee agreed to accept the offer submitted by Muirfield Contracts Ltd in the sum of 966,333.76, to which required to be added allowances amounting to 35,700, giving a total of 1,002,033.76; said offer being in the best interests of the Council.
