I DECLARATION OF INTEREST

 

No declarations of interest were made.

 

II HOUSING REPAIRS PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT EXTENSION

 

On a reference to Article I of the minute of meeting of the Housing, Dundee Contract Services and Environment Committee of 1st July, 2009, there was submitted Joint Report No 6-2014 by the Director of Housing and Director of Environment seeking approval for an extension of the Housing Repairs Partnership Agreement 2009-2014 for one year to allow sufficient time for a thorough review and a robust option appraisal of the delivery of these services.

 

The Committee:-

 

(i) noted the success of the Housing Repairs Partnership Agreement in delivering value for money and high levels of customer satisfaction over the period of the current Agreement; and

 

(ii) approved the extension of the current Agreement to March, 2015.

 

III TENDERS RECEIVED

 

There was submitted Report No 23-2014 by the City Architect detailing tenders received and requesting decisions thereon:-

 

(a) DRYBURGH SHELTERED LOUNGE - UPGRADING WORKS

 

The Committee agreed to a negotiated project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) in the sum of 39,773.45, together with allowances of 3,380.74 for professional services, giving a total expenditure of 43,154.19.

(b) STRATHMORE STREET AND MORVEN TERRACE SHELTERED LOUNGES - UPGRADING WORKS

 

The Committee agreed to a negotiated project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) in the sum of 18,475.57, together with allowances of 1,570.43 for professional services, giving a total expenditure of 20,046.10.
