I DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

 

Councillor Dawson and Bailie Borthwick declared a non-financial interest by virtue of a family member being a serving Police Officer.

 

II SCOTTISH FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE QUARTERLY PERFORMANCE REPORT 1ST JANUARY - 31ST MARCH 2014

 

There was submitted Report No 215-2014 by Area Manager Stapley containing performance information relating to the fourth quarter (January-March) of 2014 on the performance of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service in support of member scrutiny of local service delivery, and providing information regarding the performance of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, against the performance indicators and targets detailed within the interim Dundee Fire and Rescue Plan 2013/2014, to facilitate local scrutiny.

 

The Committee agreed to note, scrutinise and question the content of the report.

 

III CITY OF DUNDEE LOCAL POLICING AREA - PERFORMANCE RESULTS - 1ST APRIL, 2013 TO 31ST MARCH, 2014

 

There was submitted Report No 220-2014 by Chief Superintendent Smith of Police Scotland providing members with local policing performance results for the quarter 1st April, 2013 to 31st March, 2014.

 

The Committee noted and scrutinised the report.

 

The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 14 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.

 

IV POLICE SCOTLAND - OPERATIONAL ISSUES

 

Chief Inspectors Trickett and Ogilvie gave a verbal update to members on operational issues.
