The Board agreed to grant a variation to allow alcohol to be sold for consumption on the premises until 1.00 am on Fridays and Saturdays with live entertainment to cease at midnight.

 

II APPLICATION FOR PAVEMENT CAFE

 

(i) CAMPBELTOWN BAR

 

The Board, having taken into account objections, heard from an agent on behalf of the applicant and the Board's Legal Adviser, the Convener moved to grant the above application. As an amendment, Councillor Murray moved to grant the above application, subject to a 4.00 pm start on school days.

 

On a division, there voted for the motion, the Convener and Councillors Guild, Cordell and Keenan (4); and for the amendment - Depute Lord Provost Roberts and Councillor Murray (2) - whereupon the motion was declared carried, granting the above application.

 

III PREMISES LICENCE REVIEW HEARING

 

(i) THE ROCK, DICKSON AVENUE

 

The Board, having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, Licensing Standards Officers, an agent on behalf of the licensee and the Board's Legal Adviser, agreed to suspend the premises licence for one week and the licensee to have internal CCTV fitted to the premises, subject to the satisfaction of the Chief Constable.

 

IV PREMISES LICENCE AND PERSONAL LICENCE REVIEW

 

(i) KELLY'S BAR, 89/91 HIGH STREET, LOCHEE

 

The Board, having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, Licensing Standards Officers, the licensee on their own behalf and the Board's Legal Adviser, agreed to issue a written warning.

 

(ii) ANN MARIE KELLY

 

The Board, having heard from the Chief Constable's representative, Licensing Standards Officer, the licence holder on their own behalf and the Board's Legal Adviser, agreed to issue a written warning.

 

V REQUEST FOR PREMISES LICENCE REVIEW HEARING

 

The Board agreed to hold a premises licence review hearing in respect of The Bayview Bar, 69B Earn Crescent.

 

VI REQUEST FOR PERSONAL LICENCE REVIEW HEARING

 

The Board agreed to hold a personal licence review hearing in respect of Angus Farmer.
