II SCOTTISH FIRE AND RESCUE QUARTERLY PERFORMANCE REPORT

 

There was submitted Report No 391-2016 by Area Manager Grieve providing performance information relating to the second quarter (July-September) of 2016/2017 on the performance of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service in support of member scrutiny of local service delivery, and providing information for the Committee regarding the performance of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Plan for Dundee 2014‑2017, to facilitate local scrutiny.

 

The Committee agreed to note, scrutinise and question the content of the report.

 

III SMOKING PROHIBITION (CHILDREN IN MOTOR VEHICLES) (SCOTLAND) ACT 2016 (COMMENCEMENT)REGULATIONS 2016

 

There was submitted Report No 381-2016 by the Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services. The purpose of this report was to advise Committee of the making of The Smoking Prohibition (Children in Motor Vehicles) (Scotland) Act 2016 (Commencement) Regulations 2016 which came into force on 5th December, 2016.

 

The Committee approved the authorisation of officers within the Environmental Compliance Team to enforce these statutory regulations.
