I DECLARATION OF INTEREST

 

No declarations of interest were made.

 

II DUNDEE COMMUNITY SAFETY PARTNERSHIP COMMISSIONING BUDGET 2017-2018

 

There was submitted Report No 260-2017 by the Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services seeking approval for the Dundee Community Safety Partnership Commissioning Budget 2017-2018.

 

The Committee approved the allocations which would allow partners to provide a strategic response to the Community Safety priority areas of work as identified within the Dundee Community Safety and Justice Local Outcomes and Improvements Plan (LOIP).

 

III AIR QUALITY UPDATE

 

There was submitted Report No 251-2017 by the Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services providing an update on progress to improve air quality and with implementation of Cleaner Air for Scotland Strategy - The Road to a Healthier Future (CAFS), in partnership with the Scottish Government and its partner organisations.

 

The Committee noted the content of the report and remitted the Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services and the Executive Director of City Development to continue with the implementation of the Air Quality Action Plan and participation in the CAFS process. The Committee further instructed the Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services to report back to the Committee on the process and implications for Dundee City seeking the status of Scotlands first Low Emission Zone.
