I DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

 

Councillors Alexander, Hunter, Gordon and Duncan declared a non-financial interest in Articles III (a) and (b) by virtue of being members of the Waste to Energy Working Group.

 

II CITY PLAN FOR DUNDEE 2017-2026

 

There was submitted Report No 314-2017 by the Chief Executive presenting the City Plan for Dundee 2017-2026 as agreed by the Dundee Partnership.

 

The Committee endorsed the City Plan.

 

The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 6, 8 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.

(b) SHARE PURCHASE AGREEMENT - DUNDEE AND ANGUS WASTE PROJECT

 

There was submitted Report No 320-2017 by the Chief Executive and Report No 321-2017 by the Chief Executive, Executive Director of Corporate Services and Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services relative to the above.

 

The Convener, seconded by Bailie Macpherson, moved approval of the two reports.

 

Bailie Keenan, seconded by Councillor Gordon, moved an amendment relative to the two reports.

 

On a division, there voted for the motion - the Convener, Depute Lord Provost Campbell, Bailies Roberts, Sawers, Scott and Macpherson, Councillors Cordell, Dawson, Flynn, Hunter, Lynn, Murray, Rendall, Ross, Short, Smith, Hay, Scott and Duncan (19); and for the amendment - Bailies Keenan and Wright, Councillors Cruickshank, Gordon, McCready, McIrvine, Malone, Marra and Richardson (9) - whereupon the motion was declared carried.
