The minute of meeting of this Board of 17th August, 2017 was held as read.

 

I EQUALITY ACT 2010 EQUALITY OUTCOMES

 

There was submitted Report No 378-2017 by the Clerk advising members of the latest position regarding compliance with the Board's duty to produce an Equality Strategy under the Equality Act 2010 and to monitor and report compliance therewith.

 

The Board agreed to adopt the strategy and equality outcomes proposed for the period 2017-2021 and remitted to the Clerk to consult on the proposed strategy and outcomes for 2017-2021 and to report back to the Board in December, 2017.

Allow live performances, recorded music prior to core hours and amend off consumption on Sunday to 11am-10pm.

 

III PERSONAL LICENCE REVIEWS

 

(i) ASHLEY FAIRFIELD

 

The Board, having heard from the Chief Constables representative, the licence holder on their own behalf, and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to issue a written warning.

 

(ii) LEE WALLACE

 

The Board, having heard from the Chief Constables representative and the Boards Legal Adviser, and having noted the non-appearance of the licence holder, agreed to revoke the licence.

 

(iii) PAUL OGILVIE

 

The Board, having heard from the Chief Constables representative and the Boards Legal Adviser, and having noted the non-appearance of the licence holder, agreed to suspend the licence for six months.

 

(iv) FRASER ROLLEY

 

The Board, having heard from the Chief Constables representative and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to defer the above review to the December meeting of this Board.

 

IV PREMISES REVIEWS

 

(i) WILLIAM MORRISON, 1 AFTON WAY, DUNDEE

 

The Board, having heard from an agent on behalf of the licence holder and the Board's Legal Adviser, agreed to take no further action.

 

(ii) THE TOWN HOUSE, KING STREET, DUNDEE

 

The Board, having heard from an agent on behalf of the licence holder and the Board's Legal Adviser, agreed to defer the hearing to the January 2018 meeting of this Board.

 

V REQUEST FOR PERSONAL LICENCE REVIEWS

 

The Board agreed to hold personal licence reviews in respect of Michael Born and Debra Born, Christopher Smith and Seamus McManus.
